Sergio Brusca has completed his musical studies (clarinet with Luigi Neroni and wind band orchestration with Gianfilippo Pocorobba) at the Frosinone Conservatoire. Since graduating he has studied clarinet with Francesco Belli, jazz with Mauro Zazzarini, and wind band orchestration with Fulvio Creux, Daniele Carnevali, Eugene Migliaro Corporon and Jan van der Roost. He has won several national competitions for chamber ensemble, and has performed as a soloist in different chamber groups (clarinet quartet; clarinet and piano; clarinet, cello and piano; clarinet choir; etc.) and in various orchestras. In 1990 he founded and became conductor of the “Officina Musicale,” an ensemble composed of wind and percussion. In 1998 he became the conductor of the wind orchestra “Complesso Bandistico Città di Priverno,” winning different national competitions.
