Submissions Guidelines

Potenza Music accepts unsolicited submissions from all composers.  We will consider most items for publication, including, but not limited to: sheet music, text book, and audio/visual products. Submissions are reviewed on a quarterly basis.  For consideration, please send the following materials:

1. One hard copy of score
2. Recording of each submission on CD or USB (no MIDI recordings)
3. Composer bio
4. Program notes
5. Complete contact information, including email address

Submissions will not be returned. Please allow up to 90 days for a response. If physical mail is impractical for financial reasons (e.g., you live outside the United States), you may request an email submission by emailing Please mail all submission materials to:

When submitting arrangements of original compositions, please ensure that they are in the public domain or you have the written permission of the original copyright holder. Potenza Music is not responsible for obtaining permission to arrange or permission to publish from original copyright holders, and if your arrangement needs and lacks either of these permissions it will be rejected. If you are unsure of whether the original composition is within the public domain please consult a professional who can help you in that determination.
